The improvement of ICT skills in the digital era is essential for new teaching models. For this reason, this intellectual output is focused in the preparation of an easy-to-use manual that helps teachers in the acquisition of knowledge about innovative educational techniques and methods based in ICT through to value heritage, especially water heritage. In addition, this output will provide prospective information about these specific relevant aspects for each of the participant local regions.
The contents of the manual will be based on the existing knowledge and partners’ expertise. Moreover, the manual will be explained in the e-learning course for school teachers and will integrate the case studies conducted by high schools during learning/teaching/training activities
This methodological guide presents new learning methodologies based on Project Based Learning (PBL) and Learning-by-doing. It develops innovative quantitative technologies in a traditionally qualitative field in search for a common analytical procedure from a wide range of researchers assessing hydraulic heritage and historic places: including contemporary and next generation of civil society, policy developers, conservators, technicians, town planners, engineers, technicians and social scientists. The ultimate goal is to analyse the interdependencies between the physical conservation, social awareness and sustainable development of specific heritage through digital learning tools.
