7th Transnational Meeting, an extra face-to-face meeting

After the meetings previously planned, we decided to organieze an extra meeting  to highlight everything that has been carried out during these three years. Also, this face-to-face meeting helped us to define futures strategic alliances.

Multiplier Events of the last year

This last year the Universitat Jaume I organized the multiplier event around World Water Day, which took place on March 22. This day several secondary schools attend the event, where the concluded intellectual outputs were exposed.

3rd LTTA the end of a great experience!

During March the students of all of the high school institutions experienced the last LTTA in Campo Maior. The cities of  Campo Maior and Elvas offered an enriching cultural experience of their hydraulic heritage.

 

 

 

6th Transnational Meeting in Campo Maior

This last official  gathering reunited assistants from seven different institutions that are a part of the project. This meeting gave us the opportunity to take into consideration all the work that has been done over the years of this project.

2nd LTTA divided in two parts

This second LTTA was divided in two mobilities following the same structure than the first activity, but took place on May 2022 in Italy. The host was the Istituto Superiore Taramelli-Foscolo, with the close collaboration of Università degli Studi di Pavia.

In this case, 10 Spanish students travelled to Pavia (Italy) with two teachers who were with them during the LTTA. In addition, at least 10 Italian students participated like tutors for the incoming students.

After this first part of the 2nd LTTA, in October the high schools of Portugal participated in the mapping party with 10 students from each high school (AECM & AEN3).

In this activity students learnt about  hydraulic heritage in Italy and the creation of interactive maps. Also they put into practice the knowledge acquired, tested the designed tools and visited nearby historical and hydraulic heritage.

5th Transnational Meeting in Alicante, guided tour of Tibi Reservoir

Previously, before the meeting a tour around the landscape of Tibi Reservoir was organized by the University of Alicante.

This 5th H2OMap transnational meeting  was focused on detailing the next activities of this 2023.

So excited to move forward!

6th Multiplier Event in Elvas

The 400th anniversary of the Amoreira Aqueduct was the central theme of the V International Conference of Elvas, which took place June 24th at the Casa da História Judaica.
The initiative, promoted by AIAR – Associação de Desenvolvimento pela Cultura, had the participation of a group of academics and researchers, national and international, to debate the theme of water architecture and evaluate the varied interests that these infrastructures house through different buildings.

 

 

The 6th virtual meeting of H2OMap focuse on the next actions

The 6th H2OMap virtual meeting focused on detailing the next activities of this 2022. Among them, 2nd LTTA that will take place next May in Pavia (Italy). So excited to move forward!

 

 

The 3rd Transnational Meeting takes place in Castellón

This gathering reunited 21 assistants from seven different institutions that are a part of the project. The meeting took place in two different days. The 20th of September was dedicated to the revision of everything that has taken place during the last year and all the accomplishments of H2OMap; the members also started coordinating the next event.

On the second day, the 21st, the Mapping Party took place, this session permitted trying out how the ICT tools really work.

Multiplier event in Elda is featured in Tele Elx

The multiplier event that took place in Elda, Alicante, appeared last week on Tele Elx. On this program they focused on hydraulic heritage and why it is so important.
