Learning, Teaching and Training activities

H2O Map will develop three transnational learning, teaching and training activities (LTTA) for high school students.

Learning Activity 1

The first LTTA will take place on October 2021 in Spain, and the host will be IES Penyagolosa, with the close collaboration of the Jaume I University of Castellón.

This activity aims at facilitating high quality and innovative transnational learning. To this end, 10 Italian students and 10 Portuguese students will travel to Castellón (Spain) with two teachers who will be with them during the LTTA. In addition, at least 10 Spanish students will participate like “mentors” of the incoming students.

The students will carry out an intensive work based experience in Spain with the double purpose to enrich theoretical competences with practical skills and to pilot the first parts of the intellectual outputs, developing part of the first study of case. Also students will learn about  hydraulic heritage in Spain and will visit nearby historical and hydraulic heritage.

Learning Activity 2

The second LTTA will follow the same structure than the first activity, but will take place on March 2022 in Italy. The host will be the Istituto Superiore Taramelli-Foscolo, with the close collaboration of Università degli Studi di Pavia.

In this case, 10 Spanish students and 10 Portuguese students will travel to Pavia (Italy) with two teachers who will be with them during the LTTA. In addition, at least 10 Italian students will participate like tutor the incoming students.

In this activity students will learn about  hydraulic heritage in Italy and the creation of interactive maps. Also they will put into practice the knowledge acquired, test the designed tools and visit nearby historical and hydraulic heritage.

Learning Activity 3

The third LTTA  will follow the same structure than the other activities, but will take place on March 2023 in Portugal. The host will be the Agrupamento Escolas de Campo Maior, with the close collaboration of the Agrupamento de Escolas Nº 3 de Elvas.

In this case, 10 Spanish students and 10 Italian students will travel to Campo Maior (Portugal) with two teachers who will be with them during the LTTA. In addition, at least 10 Portuguese students will participate as tutors of the incoming students.

In this activity students will learn about  hydraulic heritage in Portugal and the creation of story maps. Also they will put into practice the knowledge acquired, test the designed tools and visit nearby historical and hydraulic heritage.
